Wythall Radio Club is based in Wythall, SW Birmingham. The club was started in 1981 and celebrated its 30th year in 2011.

We meet every Tuesday evening at Wythall House where we have our own club shack, presentation and meeting room and a fully licensed bar.

Wythall offers training courses for the Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced Licences.

We were delighted to receive an "Awards for All" recently which allowed us to purchase further training material including a projector and other materials.

Currently, Wythall Radio Club manage the following callsigns:

- G7WAC
- G0WRC
- M5W

We have guest speakers on various subjects, participate in contests, social activities, homebrew, cw training and run the best radio rally in the Midlands every March (as we have done for the past 27 years).

Wythall Contest Group, a sub-club of Wythall Radio Club, organises monthly and annual contests both in-house, portable (using club equipment) and Field-Day style operations. Wythall Radio Club is affiliated to the Radio Society of Great Britain.

The club’s mission statement is to have FUN in everything it does.
