Terms and Conditions

Table space is available at £20 per table (including table hire and electric supply if requested).  Please indicate on the form.

This is a popular Hamfest so please book early to ensure you are not disappointed. If you are interested in attending then return your booking (or online) form with 50% deposit as a booking fee without delay.

The Hamfest is held in four Halls at our WRC HQ.

 Doors open at 9.30am for Disabled, 09:45am for General Public.  Please be setup and ready for trading by 9.20am wherever possible.

 

Wythall Hamfest Conditions

Wythall Radio Club requires that all traders identify themselves and their trading address on their stands. In the event of a customer complaint or query we reserve the right to advise them of your name, address and telephone number.

Please note that only goods associated with amateur radio, electronics or computers can be sold. No toys, confectionery, flowers, kitchen ware or bric-a-brac, illegal CB’s or pirate software or DVDs will be permitted.

We are also required by the conditions of use of the site by the site owners, NOT to allow sale of any goods from cars, vans, trailers or any vehicles anywhere on site.

 Wythall Radio Club including its helpers and/or members, shall NOT be held responsible for any loss or damage whatsoever or any consequential loss or damage howsoever caused to traders’ stock or personal effects or those of their employees, helpers, family members, or associates.

Limited electrical power is available in all four halls; if you need power, please indicate on the form below. We will try to provide it.

All tables will be set out for traders before the event. Tables must NOT be re-arranged by traders. All walkways, exits and fire doors must be kept clear at all times.

There is excellent on-site parking but on the day we ask all traders to co-operate with Wythall Radio Club stewards, by parking where you are asked and to unload as quickly as possible. Likewise at the end of the day we ask that traders load up as quickly as possible.

Traders will be charged for the disposal of any unsold items left behind by them at the end of the day. Traders are also asked to place their litter in the bin bags provided. Loading & unloading assistance will be available as usual.

 

Booking Deposit

To confirm your booking, send a deposit of 50% of the total value of tables booked. If you prefer, full payment is also accepted upon booking.

Any outstanding balance will be collected on the day of the Hamfest. Deposits are non-returnable in the case of a no-show not notified to the organiser in writing before 10th February 2019.

 No bookings will be taken from traders who fail to send a deposit.

 

Payment

Cheques must be made payable to Wythall Radio Club. A receipt will be forwarded a couple of weeks before the rally date together with confirmation of booking, table allocation, traders’ badges and directions to the rally via email. If we cannot accommodate your requirements we will return your booking fee without delay.
